Cincinnati Ch 9 WCPO

Cincinnati Ch 9 WCPO Presented 4 Paws With The Honor Of Their Hometown Hero Award

This award was presented to 4 Paws For Ability TM, Inc. to honor the service dogs we have trained and placed with disabled people in the Greater Cincinnati area. They declared our dogs True Hometown Heroes. The award was presented to Ben, the founder and first 4 Paws For Ability TM, Inc. Service Dog! The award presentation was aired on the Channel 9 news, Thursday May 2, 2002! Thank you Channel 9 for presenting us with this grand honor!

The Blanche Beisswenger Memorial GSDCA Hero Dog Award 2001

The German Shepherd Club Of America presented their highest honor to Ben, the founder and first 4 Paws For Ability TM, Inc. dog, for his act of Heroism which saved his partner, and co-founder's life!

Congratulations go out to Service Dog Ben, My Courage And Friend CD, CGC, TC

Ben has received many awards over the years and is a noble example of what a 4 Paws For Ability TM, Inc. Service Dog is. They include: The 1996 Purina Mills, Why I Love My Pet Award, The Miejer's Star Search Award, The 1998 National Delta Society Beyond Limits Service Dog Award, 2000 Nominee for the American Kennel Club ACE Award, The 2000 Delta Society Special Services Award, 1999 Dog Writer's of America Award.

Also the feature story in the 2001 Popular Dog Series Magazine, The German Shepherd Dog, The 2001 GSDCA Hero Dog Award, Feature Story in the Nationally distributed magazine The German Shepherd Review 1999, and 2000, Featured in the book, "The Compassion of Dogs" by Kim DR Dearth, and finally recipient of the May 2002 Ch. 9 WCPO Hometown Hero Award.

Dog Writer's Association of America

Dog Writer's Association of America honors the 4 Paws Story with the 1999 Feature Story award.

This award was accepted in New York City during the Westminster Kennel Club National Dog Show.

Delta Society

Delta Society honors the First 4 Paws Service Dog Ben, as Service Dog of The Year during the 1998 National Beyond Limits Service Dog Award. The Award was accepted in Seattle, Washington during the Delta Society annual service dog conference. 4 Paws is proud to be a member of Delta Society, home of the National Service Dog Center.
