Graphic of letter to 4 Paws from Allison Henry, Age 8, saying For my birthday party I asked my friends to donate money to your organization. I collected $155.00. Please put the money towards Alyssa Howes' fundraiser. I hope this helps her get her fog. I have included a letter to Alyssa too. Can you please send it to her? Thank you! Love, Allison Henry.Thank you for deciding to give to our tax-exempt organization! There are many ways to donate. Network for Good and Paypal enable you to donate to 4 Paws For Ability using your credit card. Your donation is safe, secure, and private. Both Network for Good and PayPal deduct a small service charge, however if the PayPal donation is listed as a GIFT, no fees are taken. And then there is CharityChoice.

If you have a specific project that you would like your donation to go to (for example, sponsoring, wish list, etc.), please enter it in the "Special Instructions" box during your donation process through PayPal's web site. Network for Good uses a Profile feature to save your contact information, making future donations more convenient by filling in your name and address automatically when you donate. Your Profile also allows you to review history of donations you have made through the Network for Good Giving System. You will be able to review everything from the total amount you have given to each charity to a list of the names of the charities to which you have given over a specific time period. Golden retriever puppyWe're Looking for Organizations Willing to Take Part in Community Projects

4 Paws for Ability, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded by Karen Shirk in 1998. 4 Paws provides specially trained service dogs for companionship and assistance with independent living to individuals with physical and hidden disabilities.

4 Paws is unlike other service dog organizations in that it does not discriminate or limit placements or applicant acceptance based upon age or disability, having approximately 90% of placements for children under the age of ten years.

Based in Xenia, Ohio, 4 Paws has grown from a regional provider to an international organization placing service dogs in almost all 50 states and Canada. In addition, we often have interns from countries as far away as Japan, Poland and Australia. Types of placements range from companion dogs for emotional support to fully trained service dogs.

If you haven't already done so, you may want to visit the "How Can I Help?" page and take a look at various needs, including sponsorships and a wish list.

4 Paws welcomes the opportunity to partner with organizations interested in investing in community projects and appreciates occasions to meet with civic groups or organizations.

We rely heavily on the generosity of individuals,as well as corporations, and accept donations for operating expenses, training, food, toys, training supplies, medication, and our building fund.

There are several other needs of the organization that include volunteer opportunities and becoming a foster family to a puppy prior to its specialized training.
