Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to learn about Greyson and hopefully donate to ”Greyson’s Great Autism Puppy Adventure”. Greyson is our amazing and brave 3-year-old little guy who loves music, warm weather, being in the pool, Legos, ABCs, and swinging at the park. He is a very loving and happy child who always has a smile and is ready for a snuggle.
Greyson was recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Language Disorder. Our family wants to give Greyson the best life we can. Greyson has been participating in therapy at the Children’s SPOT for over a year, he is making big strides in both Speech and Occupational Therapy. He will be starting Physical Therapy and ABA Therapy soon. He also attends special education preschool through our school district. His amazing therapists and teachers push him daily to work hard and keep improving. Greyson has achieved some huge goals in the past year, he has a long way to go; but he is the brightest little guy, and we know he can do it!
So why an Autism dog? Greyson struggles with sensory and emotional challenges; the puppy would help Greyson self-regulate his emotions. Two other wonderful things the dog could help with are tethering when outside so he can’t run off and if he did escape the dog will be trained to track him. Greyson has shown us he is capable of eloping recently. This has caused both his mom and dad a lot of stress. We are working with his therapists to stop and prevent these behaviors going forward, but the dog would be such an added layer of protection and peace of mind for us.
We also hope that having a service dog would help Greyson with communication, sleeping, navigating through tough emotional times, and most of all he would have a friend to play with and learn to care for!
It costs 4 Paws between $40,000-$60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog. Our family is asked to raise $20,000 of that to help pay for the service dog. Thank you for reading Greyson’s story and thank you in advance for your help.
Your contribution will get Greyson his service dog and make a huge difference in his and our family’s day to day life.
Love, Adam, Liana, Bretten, Lillian & Greyson Roberts

Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
