Guardian Home, Abby Sheeler

I became a volunteer trainer for 4 Paws for Ability in 2015, one of the best decisions I have ever made. Bennie was the 7th dog that I had raised. When he became a breeder, I became his guardian home and my life truly changed for the better.

Being a guardian home is so much more than just having a dog— it’s having a dog that is a part of completely changing someone’s life. Bennie will produce lifesaving service dog puppies for children and veterans with disabilities. Bennie had his first litter of puppies in November 2020– 7 puppies who have the potential of savings someone’s life. Just knowing that my boy is playing such a big role in someone’s life makes my heart so happy! I am so honored to be a guardian home for 4 Paws for Ability!
