4 Paws for Ability has numerous duties for those looking to volunteer onsite.

4 Paws for Ability onsite volunteers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations at our facility in Xenia, OH, helping with tasks such as playing with puppies, walking dogs, and assisting with other projects as an individual or group.

General Requirements

-Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
-Volunteers are welcome daily to volunteer during the hours of 10am – 8pm EST.
-Volunteers must attend an orientation, complete a short online course, and be available for onsite training.
-Specific physical ability and cognitive capacity. See FAQ for more details.

Group & One-Time Volunteering

4 Paws for Ability always welcomes organizations or groups looking to contribute their time for a few hours or as a one-time visit! Along with finding the right project for your group’s size and skills, one-time volunteer groups will get a facility tour and a presentation on the work we’re doing in the community.
